When Denholm’s began diversifying in the early 1980’s the North Sea was one of the emerging sources for oil and gas and Denholm invested in companies serving the industry. Over the years this has been developed into a business with a turnover in excess of $100m employing around 2,400 people that is owned through Denholm Oilfield Services.

As well as companies serving the local Oil & Gas industry in UK, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and UAE, Denholm Oilfield Services has specialist Electical and Instrumentation, Valve Management, Freight Forwarding and Recruitment operations that operate internationally.

Our UK oilfield services companies are focussed on surface preparation, scaffolding, painting, cleaning and pipeline intervention and operate under the names of Denholm MacNamee and Denholm Industrial Services .  Additionally Denholm Offshore supports shore-end operations for cable laying.

In Azerbaijan SDL Denholm focusses on providing fabrication services to the offshore Oil and Gas industry, while in Abu Dhabi, Denholm Yam has established an excellent track record in heavy fabrication for the petrochemical industry..

In Kazakhstan, Denholm Zholdas focuses on a wide range of maintenance services to a number of upstream and downstream facilities.

Our specialist Electrical and Instrumentation business, which trades under the name of Relay, has operations in the UK, Bahrain and Kazakhstan.

Our valve management business which trades under the name of Denholm Valvecare has operations in Aberdeen, Lincoln, Great Yarmouth and Kazakhstan.

Our Oil & Gas freight forwarding business which trades as Petrasco has facilities in Aberdeen, Houston and Dubai.

And finally, Ably Resources is our Recruitment Agency specialising in placements for the Oil & Gas industries.
