Support services to fishing
Denholm Fishselling plays a leading role throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland in supporting the catching sector of the fishing industry through its offices in Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Buckie, Inverness, Lochinver, Ullapool, Mallaig and Portavogie. Denholm Fishselling’s activities include investing in fishing boats, providing an onshore management and administration service for fishing boats, marketing the catches of fishing boats, manufacture fishing nets for and selling fuel, ice and chandlery to fishing boats.

Fish Processing
Denholm Seafoods has its factory at the harbour Peterhead and is one of the largest processors of herring and mackerel in the UK. Denholm has a close working relationship with the boats that supply it with fish which protects its supply chain and makes it a significant force in the market. Denholm Seafoods grade and process fish in accordance with their customers’ requirements. With much of the output being sold into export markets as frozen product, Denholm Seafoods has its own dedicated cold store to freeze and store its product prior to shipment.
